This Pocket Manual for Advocates is well worth people taking a look at, whether a lay advocate, parent or attorney. For the advocate, there is a lot of useful guidance. For the parent, it will help to understand the role of the advocate and help you determine the “good” from the “bad.” For the attorney, there is a lot of good info that helps to understand some of the obstacles that the advocates and parents are dealing with in the SD tactics of deny and delay services.
I highly recommend it, as a parents attorney, to the parents and advocates out there that I am working with.

Dear Janie
This is just a quick note to let you know how impressive I find the Pocket Guide and the work that you have put together for your Web page.
Your efforts fill an important market niche that will reach many families with information that traditional quasi-law resources, such as Wrightslaw and official government publications simply cannot fulfill. You offer readers a remarkable blend of fresh information and anew important perspective that enables them to give a voice to their own personal concerns for their children-- a voice that once heard collectively will help restore order and achieve the stated goals of this chaotic broken special education system in the USA
Please continue your fine work with my very best wishes
All the best, Ilise
